  1. This document is for people who are quite happy with ResEdit and forcing 
  2. their mac to recreate it's desktop file. If you are not familiar with 
  3. these concepts, you might as well throw away this file and the document 
  4. name Richard's Icons right away.

  6. Richard Lim was kind enough to send me some very nicely done icons to use 
  7. for Sparkle. However after using them for a while, I found I missed the 
  8. bright blue borders of my original Sparkle icons. Thus I modified 
  9. Richard's icons to have blue borders. Richard feels a bright color as a 
  10. border is horrible, whereas I like it. So I thought it would only be fair 
  11. to allow people to make their own choice.

  13. Richard's original icons are in the resEdit file. Look at them if you 
  14. like. If you prefer them to my icons, paste them in Sparkle, rebuild your 
  15. desktop and there you are. Save a copy of them---I don't think it's too 
  16. elegant to distribute an app with extra icons like this, so in future 
  17. I'll probably decide on one or the other and use only those. If you have 
  18. strong feelings one wy or the other mail me, and I'll see if the vote is 
  19. conclusive.
